Help Keep Beach Fires In San Diego

During the pandemic the beach was the first place to open up. Naturally, we got a mixed bag. People gathered after lifeguards left their posts burning whatever they could in the sand, lighting commercial grade fireworks, leaving bottles and coals. With no oversight, common sense laws against littering and open fires in the sand were completely disregarded. Beach Fire Guy and friends spent many nights picking up rogue fires and cleaning up trash and coals. In an effort to fix the problem officials are shutting down anyone with a contained pit. Beach Fire Guy has long been their after hours taking care of the beach.

Please support responsible beach fires. We need family forward activities that brings people together of all ages and walks of life. Beach Fire Guy follows all city ordinances and teaches stewardship and awareness while actively cleaning our beaches.
